Tasks

Your responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead mentor and grow a team of frontend and backend engineers
  • Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Conduct performance reviews set objectives and support career development plans

Project and Technical Oversight:

  • Oversee the transition from legacy systems to a new AWS serverless application
  • Ensure the delivery of highquality scalable and maintainable code
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project scopes timelines and deliverables

AWS Serverless Architecture Expertise:

  • Provide (partially handson) expertise in AWS services (a certification is a plus)
  • Guide the team in best practices for serverless architecture
  • Optimize application performance and cost efficiency in a serverless environment

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Work closely with product managers designers and other engineering teams to align on business goals and user needs
  • Ensure clear documentation of systems and architectures adhering to best practices in documentation and code quality

Requirements

Your profile:

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role in software development
  • Strong background in AWS serverless technologies (Lambda API Gateway DynamoDB etc.)
  • Proficiency in Lambda and NoSQL with Single Table Design
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • S. or M.S. in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
  • Good communication skills in English
