Job Description
Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager
We design engineer install and maintain solar photovoltaic systems for commercial and industrial building owners solar power investors and utility companies. We are a crosscultural team of people who are passionate about the solar industry. We are looking for a team leader who can thrive in this environment and contribute to the growth of our company.
Responsibilities:
The O&M Manager is responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of all PV systems in our portfolio. He/she must ensure the systems under care are performing to a high standard and all faults are quickly and effectively rectified.
The O&M Manager contributes to related fields including customer care communications design and contractual matters. He/she should also actively identify improvements or advances in technology to continuously improve the O&M scope.
The O&M Manager will lead the O&M team to:
Maintain all PV systems installed by the company or under O&M contract
Monitor solar PV systems and respond to faults and breakdowns
Develop/improve O&M processes and tools according to ISO 9001 standards.
Evaluate and procure remote monitoring and sensing solutions for solar PV systems
Process and analyse field data to evaluate performance of solar PV systems
Develop or identify predictive monitoring for photovoltaic systems by processing realtime data and identifying patterns that predict an imminent failure
Perform PV system commissioning and testing as necessary
Work with the PV installation team as necessary
Requirements:
2 years of experience as an O&M Manager This will determine the salary range
Is well organised with good analytical skills
Seizes the initiative to solve problems
Is good at interpersonal relations
Can inspire his or her team to excel
Has electrical engineering background knowledge in a programming language for data analytics such as Python will be helpful but not necessary
Salary:
To be discussed at interview dependent on experience
