Job Description

Legal Secretary Solihull

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join a wellestablished law firm in Solihull.

This is a fulltime permanent role which requires experience within a residential conveyancing department.

As a Conveyancing Legal Secretary your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing correspondence and documents through audio typing and word processing.
  • Administering filing which will include daily filing and the opening closing storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures contained in the office manual.
  • Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch.
  • Arranging for all copying to be done in person with the client s identification.
  • Making appointments arranging meetings and maintaining an up to date diary for your principal.
  • Preparing the conference room for meetings as necessary and tidying and clearing the room at the end of the meeting.
  • Speaking with clients as they arrive in the office.
  • Adhoc reception duties.

To be a successful Conveyancing Legal Secretary you will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Previous Conveyancing experience.
  • Previous experience or currently working as a Legal Secretary.
  • Good MS Office experience.
  • Excellent phone manner.
  • Attentive.

Your working hours will be 09:0017:30 MondayFriday.

In return a Legal Secretary will receive a starting salary of 28000 per annum.
