Account Manager
A small supplier of multiproduct apparels is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their business in the UK. The key account to manage is George/ASDA across kids ladies and menswear.
The candidate could be based in the Midlands with occasional travel to London office. The business is open to considering part time work (23 days a week).
Account Manager: The Role:
- Working closely with buyers on all aspects of product development costings and negotiations
- Blocking factory capacity placing the right product with the right factory working closely with factories on all aspects of sampling managing approvals and all communications.
- Ensuring that production is in control and execution of orders are going smoothly
- Manage critical path
- Working with design technical and sales functions
- Managing customers expectations and providing top class customer service
Requirements
Account Manager: The Person:
- Will be an experienced account manager/merchandiser from the supplier side of fashion. You could be a buyer who is keen to explore a role in the supplier side.
- Will have experience in working with George/ASDA
- Will have strong communication skills and be experienced in working with factories in the far east
- Will be organised and be able to take ownership of their account on a day to day basis
- Strong critical path management skills
- Highly organised
- Effective communication skills
