Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented General Accountant to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles financial management and a solid understanding of general accounting processes. Experience with Zoho Books is preferred. As a General Accountant you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records using Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
Record financial transactions including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
2. Financial Reporting:
Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the organizations financial performance.
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements for management review.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
4. Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
5. Tax Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
6. Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement in accounting procedures.
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
7. Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends opportunities and potential risks.
Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
8. Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather financial information and insights.
Communicate financial results and recommendations to management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
Relevant experience as a General Accountant.
Familiarity with accounting software preferably Zoho Books.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Knowledge of Saudi Arabian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
