Our client is a cuttingedge software company headquartered in Chicago specializing in global payments payroll and Employer of Record (EOR) solutions. Our clients software empowers global organizations to efficiently manage their workforce across multiple countries while seamlessly executing payroll processes.
The Senior Strategic Programs Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and driving strategic initiatives and projects for the company. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Initiatives the successful candidate will lead a team of Product Project Managers and will be responsible for coordinating and executing various projects critical to the companys success.
1. Strategic Program Management:
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for strategic initiatives including but not limited to platform launches CRM implementations website launches and ISO/SOC2 certification processes (in partnership with Compliance).
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and timelines.
Monitor and report on project progress identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery.
2. Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of Product Project Managers providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
Foster a collaborative and resultsoriented team culture driving excellence and continuous improvement.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with internal stakeholders including product development sales marketing and operations to ensure seamless coordination and communication across all projects.
Engage with external partners and vendors as needed to facilitate project success.
4. Organizational Readiness:
Collaborate with operations commercial and product teams to assess organizational
readiness for product launches or releases.
Develop and execute readiness plans ensuring that all departments are adequately
prepared for the successful introduction of new products or features.
Coordinate training programs and communication strategies to facilitate smooth adoption of new products within the organization.
5. Risk Management:
Identify and assess project risks developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Proactively address challenges and obstacles to maintain project timelines and quality.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in project management with a focus on strategic initiatives and product launches in the tech industry.
Global HR or payments tech startup solutions experience is a plus
Can work with global remote teams.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across teams and with external stakeholders.
Familiarity with ISO and SOC2 certification processes is highly desirable.
PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.

We are comfortable with this role based in Canada US Ireland Spain or UK.
