Job Description

Our client a leading independent M&A and Debt Advisory firm with a focus on crossborder and midmarket transactions is hiring a Vice President M&A to strengthen their already highly effective teams in Germany and London.

These hires are due to growth.

Tasks

Take a lead role in deal execution: process organisation modelling and valuation analysis creation of transaction support documents (information memoranda and management presentations) interactions with other legal financial and technical advisors regular contact with clients.

  • Work on complex selland buyside mandates with exposure to various industries.
  • Work with different client groups such as entrepreneurs private equity firms and corporates.
  • Running and developing financial and operating models for marketing and transaction purposes.
  • Valuation work and financial modelling including DCF and LBO analysis.
  • Manage project workstreams and material preparations autonomously.
  • Managing and mentoring team members at the analyst and associate levels.

Requirements

  • Masters degree with a strong academic track record and studies abroad.
  • At least 5 years of relevant practical experience in corporate finance/M&A advisory from an international investment bank or boutique advisory firm.
  • Strong project management skills. Able to manage multiple projects and workstreams effectively delivering highquality work on schedule.
  • Management of project organisation tasks (due diligence data room management workshops etc.) and support in projectrelated contract negotiations.
  • Good knowledge of valuation and modelling techniques as well as financial theory and accounting.
  • Great interpersonal skills with a selfstarter mentality and the ability to get things done.
  • Experience in guiding people and strong skills in collaborative situations.
  • Teamorientated and able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong client focus with the ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships.
  • Fluent in German and English speaking and writing.
