Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available to play a lead role in our offshore wind business as the Head of Compensation and Benefits based in London.

This position will report to the Global Head of HR and will support our global offshore wind business which is responsible for the successful management and delivery of a pipeline of more than 30GW of offshore wind projects.

About the role

This position is an important role within the HR team to support the business on high priority processes. We are looking for an individual who can work in a standalone C&B function with the right level of competence to work at a strategic level whilst operating with a handson detailorientated approach.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of the Global Benefits Offering we operate across 15 countries with a range of core benefits on offer this position will:
    • Establish strategic global benefits program
    • Research and analysis of market practices
    • Modelling and budgeting of costs
    • Development and management of relationships with brokers
    • Ownership of the annual renewal process
    • Ensuring communications materials are available to educate employees on benefits.
    • Partner with the HR Operations team on implementation and BAU issues
  • Endtoend Management of the Compensation Processes this includes both annual and operational processes and includes:
    • Data modelling and analysis on salary and incentive budgeting and planning
    • International salary survey submissions; developing and maintaining relationships with providers
    • Job grading and benchmarking of roles
    • Prepare materials and drive agenda for the Remuneration Committee including stakeholder management of committee members
    • Ownership of manager spreadsheets for compensation planning.
    • Provide data analysis to aid compensation decision making; striving to ensure manager decisions promote pay equity.
    • Maintenance of compensation related data ensuring data integrity
    • Administration of and HR subject matter expert on the LongTerm Incentive Plan
  • Leadership and Engagement
    • Be part of the Senior HR team and help shape the HR priorities for the organization.
    • Partner with HRBPs to effectively support the business.
    • Streamline processes to improve ways of working and make them more efficient & scalable as our business grows.
    • Proactively seek opportunities to use HR data more effectively to aid the business with their decisions.

To be successful in this role you will have worked in a similar role with global experience of Compensation and Benefits. You will have the ability to adapt to your situation whether it is working on a detailed calculation for an individual employee or leading a topic in the Remuneration committee. It would be desirable but not essential to have experience in a private equity or investment bank environment.
