As a Traveling Registered Nurse you will have the unique opportunity to work in various healthcare settings across different cities and provinces. Your exceptional nursing skills and compassionate care will be utilized to deliver highquality medical services to diverse patient populations. You will be essential to our team ensuring patients receive the utmost care and attention during their medical journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist and support expectant mothers throughout the labour and delivery process.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing during childbirth.
  • Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families during labour and delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor s degree in nursing.
  • Bilingual French and English with the ability to chart in French.
  • Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with your provincial governing body.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent Canadian experience in Obstetrics.
  • BLS NRP and FHS certifications (additional certifications may be required based on specific assignments).
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle a variety of medical cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments and travel schedules.
  • A passion for travel learning and experiencing new cultures.
  • Provide proof of COVID19 vaccination as per provincial Immunization Policy.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check.
