Were looking for a skilled Robotics Engineer to join our dynamic team. Working closely with our CTO and engineering team you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of our cuttingedge autonomous robotic platforms and devices. This position is central to our goal of enhancing patient care optimizing operational efficiency and reducing healthcare costs in the healthcare sector.

Tasks

• Algorithm Development and Implementation: You will be responsible for developing and implementing new algorithms for the entire autonomy stack of indoor robots/AGVs particularly in the logistics domain.
• Algorithm Testing: This involves testing the algorithms in various environments including software hardware and on the vehicle itself ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Team Coordination and Collaboration: You will coordinate and collaborate with embedded software developers electronics & mechatronics engineers ensuring seamless integration of various components.
• Management Reporting: Regular coordination with and reporting to the management team will be a key part of your role keeping them informed of progress and challenges.

Requirements

• Educational Qualifications: BEE M.Sc or PhD in software engineering computer science mechatronics or a related field with a focus on robotics and autonomous systems.
• Professional Experience: At least 3 years of professional work experience in robotics realtime controls or a similar field.
• Technical Expertise:
• Handson experience with mapping localization and navigation algorithms.
• Strong software development skills in C and Python.
• Solid knowledge of computer vision machine learning and robotics algorithms.
• Highly Desirable Skills:
• Working knowledge of ROS or other robotics middleware.
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as CARLA LGSVL Gazebo etc.
• Experience with project planning and the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with communication buses and protocols like CAN SPI Protocol Buffers gRPC Ethernet etc.
