Job Description
A growing and innovative multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer for their Lauderdale team!
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of design for HVAC for Healthcare, Commercial, Higher Education or Laboratory projects
- Provide advanced heating/cooling load calculations with Trace/HAP
- Develop sections/elevations of complex duct work and piping areas, equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases and air and water flows
- Edit specifications
- Coordinate all details of HVAC system design and projects
- Assist with completing RFI s for a project and review submittals
- Deliver appropriate documentation using proper scope for SD, DD and CD level documents
- Meet with contractors during bid phase to review design details
Requirements:
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in HVAC design
- PE License
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
