PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND KEY CHALLENGES:
- Analog IC designer does schematic design simulate layout test and analysis analog building blocks such as amplifiers comparator bandgap digitaltoanalog converter analogtodigital converter and LVDS transceiver.
To keep the leading performance of IC analog IC designer should learn to have innovative solution balancing noise speed linearity power supply voltage area and power consumption.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
Essential
- Deeply understanding all kinds of analog circuit design and analysis such as amplifier comparator reference resource.
- Deep understanding signal processing and analysis methods. Familiar using matlab/verilogA to model nonideal parameters and build correction algorithm.
- Familiar with various mainstream EDA tools especially Cadence IC/MMSIM and Mentor Graphics Calibre simulation method of different circuit performances and physical layout skills.
Desirable
- Deeply understanding various instruments such as oscilloscope signal generator to evaluate the performances of mixedsignal circuit
- Familiar with basic digital circuits and design flow. Be able to convert the correction algorithm to Verilog code.
- Having full mixedsignal design flow experience including design testing and rampup will be a plus
- Familiar with the characteristics of the optical sensors.
- Having experience with CMOS image sensor will be a plus
- Experience with electronic system design will be a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Qualifications
Master or higher degree in microelectronic or electronic engineer department.
