Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Backend Developer to join our team. If you are a highly motivated and experienced Node.js developer who wants to focus on building powerful software infrastructure for computer vision were looking for you!
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial software development (postgraduation)
- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience working in VC backed earlystage startups
- Fluency in English UK work permit
Tech Stack
- Runtime / Frameworks: Node.js and Express
- APIs: REST and GraphQL
- Databases: MongoDB Postgres InfluxDB Redis
- Frontend: React.js Redux
- AWS SDK: EKS Lambda ECR RDS EC2 Elasticache IAM S3 Kinesis Video Codebuild Route53 Secrets Manager
- Other Technologies: WebSockets EMQX Python
- Other Infrastructure: GitLab Kubernetes Docker Linux
Responsibilities
- Develop update and upgrade API endpoints.
- Develop update and upgrade GraphQL schemas to support new and existing functionality.
- Integrate with 3rdparty services such as payment processors email sending etc.
- Integrate with 1stparty products and services such as our microservices and frontend apps.
- Collaborate with other staff to architect new features that make our clients happy.
- If you have infrastructure CI/CD DBA or sysadmin experience you will get to do that sometimes too.
