Job Description
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the machine shop, including machining, tooling, and related processes.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient production.
- Plan and schedule machine shop activities to meet production targets and customer requirements.
- Monitor and control machining parameters, such as cutting speeds, feeds, and tooling, to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
- Optimize the use of resources, including manpower, machines, and materials, to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
