QA Engineer automation or fullstack

ainavio (previously Retail Foundation) is a startup that provides an allinone cloud solution for the ecommerce industry to capture enrich and distribute product content at scale. We use AI and workflow automation to help our customers improve their product information management.

We are seeking a software QA Engineer who helps us with the quality of our products at ainavio System.

You will be the first QA engineer of the company and thus you will work on manual and/or automation wherever you find the need.

Tasks

• Together with the development team to test out the features and products
• Start to set up and own the QA process when you understand the systems and able to do so
• Able to create manage and execute test cases and scripts
• Identify and adopt new testing methodologies best practices and tools to improve test coverage and greatly reduce the need for repetitive functional testing. If not there is a high chance that you have to do manual tests
• In longer term you will spend some time to research design plan communicate and implement automated testing tools
• Communicate problems test results and the status of projects
• Debug troubleshoot and analyze the root cause of product failures and anomalies

Requirements

What we need:

• Bachelors degree in IT computer science network or equivalent experience required
• At least 2 years of experience in software automation testing
• Working knowledge of QA processes and methodologies
• Handson experience with unit test end to end test and UI tests
• Ability to code in one (or some) of these languages: Python Bash shell Java C# Javascript Typescript Golang...
• Experience in setting up tools and frameworks is a big plus
• Knowledge of Jira Confluence GitLab
• Good English skills both listening and speaking
