France Macaron SAS a leading company in Frances macaron industry is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Development Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.
As a Business Development Associate you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities building relationships with potential clients and driving revenue growth.
Conducting market research: understand your market including potential customers and their needs
Proactively develop top customers potential top customers and new customers
Works directly with the international trade consultancy to ensure the smooth running of the subsidiary
Ensures operations compliance with state/ federal regulations various accreditation entities
Build the logistic strategy (warehousing international and local transporter)
Represent the company in Australia on all aspects of the sales and operations
Ensuring fluid communication between the Australian subsidiary and the parent company in France
Taking part to local events and national exhibitions to set up new relationship and promote the company
Research and identify potential clients and business opportunities in the Restaurants industry
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients
Negotiate and close deals ensuring favourable terms and conditions
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities
Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities to the Export Manager and CEO
The position entails fulltime employment requiring work hours from 11 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday. Flexibility is appreciated allowing for adjustments to accommodate communication with the team in France.
Successful applicants must have:
Ability to work with the team of international trade consultants the French team and customers at all levels of the company and industry
Full P&L financial acumen
Capacity to create commercials support (sell sheets company presentations...)
Having great products knowledge and the right sales pitch
Raising funds from the French public investment bank to be able to finance the Australian development
Ability to manage international and local logistics (stock management order rotation with France)
Capacity to understand how the Australian market works
Familiar with the rules governing imports
A diploma or a bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field is highly desirable
Prior experience in business development or sales roles preferably in the Restaurants industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Fluent in English and French
