Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• This position will be accountable for coordinating the total Assembly Planning functions using CAPP documentation including manufacturability from concept/design through the steps of assembly production.
• Incumbent will also be responsible for workstation design adhering to the CPS structure including 5s and waste elimination during the development of a paced production packaging assembly process.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in an Engineering or Engineering Technology discipline AND 1 year of relevant experience OR Associates degree in engineering discipline AND 3 years of relevant experience OR 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency with MS Office; MS Word MS Excel MS PowerPoint
• Ability to design evaluate and modify fixtures/tooling for manufacturing
• Can establish priorities meet deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently

Top Candidates will also have:

• 4 years of Caterpillar experience.
• Have working knowledge of FMEAs SPC Project Management Lean Manufacturing Error Proofing and Root Cause Analysis
• Proficiency with Computeraided design software such as Creo and AutoCAD
• Experience working in CAPP documentation
• Demonstrate excellent leadership communication interpersonal analytical and project planning skills
