As the M&A Director you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth trajectory of our client in Belgium through strategic mergers acquisitions and partnerships. You will lead a talented team and work closely with senior executives to identify evaluate and execute strategic transactions that align with our corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine the overall M&A strategy in alignment with the companys business goals and objectives.
  
• Collaborate with the executive team to ensure M&A activities support the companys longterm vision.
  
• Deal Origination:
  
• Proactively identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities partnerships and investment targets.
  
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential transactions through market research and networking.
  
• Due Diligence:
  
• Lead due diligence efforts for potential transactions coordinating with crossfunctional teams to assess financial operational and legal aspects.
  
• Analyze and present findings to the executive team highlighting key risks and opportunities.
  
• Deal Structuring and Negotiation:
  
• Develop deal structures that align with strategic objectives and financial goals.
  
• Lead negotiations with external parties to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  
• Execution and Integration:
  
• Oversee the endtoend execution of M&A transactions working closely with legal finance and operational teams.
  
• Develop and implement integration plans to maximize value from completed transactions.
  
• Stakeholder Management:
  
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including executives legal advisors financial institutions and potential targets.
  
• Stay abreast of industry trends competitor activities and market dynamics to inform strategic decisionmaking.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an M&A professional with a track record of successfully leading transactions.
  
• Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing crossfunctional teams.
  
• Indepth knowledge of M&A processes legal regulations and best practices.
