Job Brief

Autobahn Security hiring is seeking an exceptional Backend Engineer (m/w/d) who loves to deliver APIs and services that power our Autobahn Security cyber security solution. You will be part of one of our product development teams which each owns their part of the product endtoend with you building the backend services that are the backbone of our SaaS product.

Tasks

Responsibilities

• Provision and operate multiple Kubernetes clusters as well as additional infrastructure services in AWS using InfrastructureasCode
• Introduce and establish a GitOps approach to streamline development/deployment of new services for the different product teams
• Ensure high availability of our system
• Implement and improve monitoring dashboarding and alerting systems
• Implement strong DevSecOps tooling and practices
• Design and implement backup/restore and disaster recovery procedures
• Document processes and infrastructure
• Collaborate with the development team to optimize the software development lifecycle

Requirements

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a backend developer and proven expertise in developing microservices using Node.js.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with NestJS is a valuable addition.
• A strong background in working with relational databases data warehousing techniques and tools.
• Good knowledge in designing and documenting APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• A strong proponent of unit and integration testing.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in implementing Pub/Sub messaging systems.
• Experience in scaling applications and user authentication/authorization.
• Excellent team collaboration skills with a focus on communication and joint problemsolving.
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility in project handling.
• Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
• Experience with React is a plus.
