Applied Hydronics Product Specialist Calgary

Our client is seeking a Hydronics Product Specialist to serve as their companys expert for Applied Hydronics products in Western Canada.

In this role you will play a pivotal role in promoting and supporting our hydronic heating products wet heat systems chillers and heat pumps. The Applied Hydronics Product Specialist will be involved jointly with the Product Director in the marketing of the products for which they are responsible. This role will require travel regularly across Western Canada to support sales teams and customers. Our team is looking for a passionate individual with 5 years of industry experience who can collaborate with our team and engage with our customers.

What you will accomplish with us

Develop marketing tools catalogs and sales guides in collaboration with our marketing and sales teams.

Coordinate with the service manager and manufacturer support to assist with onsite problemsolving during equipment commissioning.

Provide technical training on product knowledge installation and application to internal teams and external customers.

Work closely with suppliers to align sales strategies with supplier expectations.

Assist the sales team in bid preparation when necessary.

Identify the competitive positioning of our products in the market.

Maintain awareness of new technologies and ensure our products are positioned effectively in the market.

Act as the technical specialist for the products under your responsibility.

Demonstrate the ability to persuade both sales team and external customers.

Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and commitment to customer service.

Effectively manage priorities schedules and initiatives.

Collaborate effectively with colleagues and align with company and Product Director priorities.

Deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences and work with various organizational levels and suppliers.

Profil

Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience.

Specialized studies in building mechanics (Building mechanics or Mechanical Engineering degree).

Mastery and knowledge of technical product applications.

Technical knowledge of the products represented and of the competition.

Knowledge of the market targeted by these products.

High level of organizational skills.

Thrive in highpressure environments and make sound decisions.

Successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Approach challenges with diplomacy courtesy with internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge of MS Office software.
