Position Description:
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, and the Manager of Talent Acquisition will be accountable to lead the core processes of recruitment for the organization, in addition to being the lead recruiter in providing end-to-end
This is a newly created position which will play an integral role in contributing to the company’s growth ;
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the recruiting function through leadership of systems and processes with an eye for continuous improvement
- Manage a team of 2 recruiters and define the best alignment of resources
- Assist in Employment Branding initiatives
- Manage external partnerships with recruitment agencies and consultants
- Develop standardized recruitment processes, interviews guides and templates
- Participate as a member of the larger HR team in pursuing assigned HR accountabilities and projects, as well as relevant support in the overall goals of the client ;
- Review, Analyze and maintain Talent Acquisition KPI’s, reporting opportunities and successes in the talent acquisition framework
- Develop recruitment strategies and handled the implementation and execution of the recruitment cycle
- Coach and train managers in developing their skills in the assessment and selection of candidates
- Develop internal and external job postings
- Prepare a short list of candidates and prepare candidate summaries for the hiring manager
- Coordinate the selection process including interviews, testing and reference checking
- Conduct thorough reference checks and coordinate background checks if applicable
- Facilitate candidate decisions, offer details and manage offer presentation
- Other duties as assigned, including assistance with HR team projects
Position Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in recruitment within a medium to large Corporation with a best-practice approach to staffing and recruitment
- 5+ years of hands-on experience recruiting high volume within fast pace environment hiring field/hourly (blue collar) Manufacturing, yard and field employees
- Experience working with an applicant tracking system
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to offer as well as managing others
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft ;
- Experience with hourly and salary staff a must
