Firm in Marin is seeking a new member for their accounting team. The successful candidate will display a high degree of professionalism attention to detail sensitivity to deadlines and be able to handle highly sensitive information with complete confidentiality. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills are a must as is the desire and ability to identify recommend and lead improvements. Candidate must work well individually as well as part of a team be flexible and willing to accept new challenges.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- CPA is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Advent APX HedgeFacts Sage AccPac experience helpful
- Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel and Outlook
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt as new duties and technology evolve
- Selfmotivated with strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic
- Solid reconciliation and analysis skills
- Ability to exercise judgment to support and document conclusions
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Investment accounting a plus
- Perform other special projects as needed
