Job Description

PROCESS ENGINEER (Permanent)
Our client an established manufacturing company near Providence RI is looking to hire a Process Engineer to join their growing team.


Responsibilities:

  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles towards process and product development
  • Act as a presence on the shop floor providing support when necessary and ensuring production/quality are at the highest standards
  • Examine current processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and operational effectiveness
  • Evaluate results to ensure both internal/external expectations are being met or exceeded
  • Process controls and run experiments to develop and test the effectiveness of new procedures
  • Conduct laboratory investigations to resolve customer complaints
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis to investigate issues regarding production and/or processes
  • Sit in daily production meetings and provide process engineering & metallurgic updates
  • Determine areas for process improvement communicating changes clearly to team members and ensuring seamless implementation
  • Collaborate with supervisors team leads and machine operators to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and determine best course of action
  • Work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Complete special projects in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned/as necessary


Details:

  • Position is full time direct hire
  • Standard 40hour work week with minimal overtime
  • 1st Shift; 100% inoffice
  • $80000 $90000 annually depending on experience
  • Health Dental Vision Life Insurance LTD 401k match
  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Chemical or Materials Engineering
  • 2 years experience in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organization skills analytical and time management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated
  • Company is open to assisting with relocation
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available
