Responsible for managing the strategic delivery of digital marketing and customer experience our Client is also working to create growth opportunities within the Ecommerce platform of each of the six national brands.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of ECommerce & Digital Marketing Operations the ECommerce Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for the development and continuous optimization of the Ecommerce business operation and sales strategy for the largest of 4 Canadian Apparel Retailers under our Client's umbrella. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to identify the key drivers that contribute to delivering a powerful online store experience which result in the overall growth of traffic conversion revenue and brand loyalty.
Candidates with 5 years of seniorlevel ECommerce Leadership experience in a B2C environment are strongly preferred. However a combination of 10 years of High Volume Retail Store Manager experience along with a minimum of 2 years working in ECommerce will be considered provided all Required Experience points below are met.
PLEASE NOTE: Although our Client does offer a hybrid schedule of 3 days inoffice and 2 days working from home this position does require the successful candidate to work fulltime based in Winnipeg MB.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience working with Ecommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Shopify/Adobe Commerce/Magento/Demandware
Excellent understanding of UX web design customer flow (conversion funnel) website merchandising and web analysis
Demonstrated experience with Google Analytics and other Analytic tools required
Confidence in traffic analysis reporting tools and optimisation
Knowledge of Attribution modelling website speed optimisation A/B testing conversion management sales journey optimisation traffic analysis and reporting tools
In depth understanding of the customer journey with the proven ability to leverage data insights to deliver bestinclass CX
Strategic business thinking with the ability to drive sales define KPIs and analyze results
Demonstrated success in leadership roles and in fostering crossfunctional relationships with business partners
Resultsoriented and process driven with high expectations of self and team
Technologically savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and learns new technology quickly
Excellent organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities of the Position
SALES STRATEGY & ANALYTICS
Develop and execute a comprehensive Ecommerce strategy including sales and marketing plans in collaboration with brand leaders and cross functional teams with accountability for online revenue achievement
Lead a team of Ecommerce professionals to execute a flawless website experience for customers; identifying championing and implementing Ecommerce improvements and enhancements that accelerate business growth and improve the customer experience
Partner with the product and creative teams to assist in developing compelling storytelling for each season across categories including feature trends specific campaign initiatives and promotions
Ensure Enterpriselevel leadership is informed on the status and pace the ECommerce operation is functioning at including the capture and reporting of KPI growth/change weekly
Develop and maintain a ‘voice’ and communication style for the brand that is representative of their unique values and mission statement
Identify and communicate business requirements based on analysis for improved website functionality and enhanced customer experience in the areas of:
website traffic
visitor behavior
conversion
online sale data
Leverage Google Analytics (GA4) and other tools to proactively monitor website performance and report on site traffic and clickstream navigation patterns site search and browse behaviour functionality usage and marketing campaign effectiveness
Lead analysis by interpreting complex data modeling using statistical techniques validating results and communicating to senior management
Leverage analytics to conduct indepth analysis of website user experience determining actionable business opportunities and strategy to subsequently improve ECommerce KPIs
TECHNICAL & OPERATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS
Manage daytoday site operations and collaborate with crossfunctional partners to manage and execute all aspects of the Ecommerce business including business planning content strategy promotional campaign execution and other online marketing website design customer service web analytics and web technologies
Partner with the Digital Product teams to identify issues and opportunities to eliminate points of friction and improve conversion rate
Support new feature development and conduct user acceptance testing as needed working closely with the Digital Product and UX/UI teams
Manage projects and coordinating with teams third party resources and key stakeholders to ensure the execution of all things related to Ecommerce operations
Directly manage the outcome of all website activities (both employee and customer facing);
user experience

online product merchandising
Proactively implement process improvements and solutions when potential gaps are identified using creative outofbox solutions to overcome obstacles before they arise
Ensure that all product details are complete accurate and reflected on each website in a timely manner
Oversee the operational activities and analysis for:
Minimize risk to the business through effective prioritization of web development overall process implementation management and support of all change requests
Conduct competitive research as required and maintain current knowledge of ECommerce industry trends tools technology and best practice
Enhance overall Enterprise profitability through the effective management of the ECommerce budget for your brand while implementing processes to drive increased revenue
LEADERSHIP
Develop and present recommendations to support Ecommerce initiatives
Execute a proactive approach to hiring and mitigate turnover by fostering an environment of continuous personal growth and development
Promote collaboration at all levels within the Digital Marketing & ECommerce area of business through the solicitation and support of ideas from others and by sharing ideas and knowledge with team members personally when appropriate
Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable through ongoing coaching and regular touch points to discuss performance
