Job Purpose/Role Description:

We are looking for a talented Junior Machine Learning Engineer who is comfortable with databases datasets semi structured data as well as the ETL processes of data preparation and visualization tools. As a Machine Learning Engineer you will extract and collect data from different sources ranging from excel files to Data Cloud platforms like Snowflake. Once the data collected the data scientist should be able to deliver MMM predictive models based on regression techniques. The role also requires the design and implementation of stochastic techniques and combinatorial optimization algorithms to effectively explore large search spaces with innovative heuristics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and organize raw data
• Evaluate business needs and objectives in terms of predictive modelling
• Interpret trends and patterns
• Design build and experiment with new heuristics and algorithms.
• Integrate the validated new techniques and approaches within Mass Analytics products and solutions.
• Develop analytical tools and programs
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects on projects
  
  

Key Attributes/Main Competencies:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Python Java programming languages (Scala is a plus).
• Familiarity with feature engineering and subset selection techniques
• Familiarity with Database systems like SQL and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with global and local search optimization algorithms.
• Proficiency in data predictive modelling and regression models
• Knowledge of the best practices of software development and delivery.
• Familiarity with data preparation and data visualization tools
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problemsolving skills.
• Attention to details.
• 1 year of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
