Finance Business Partner 6 month Interim

Main Responsibilities

Senior Business Partner reporting to Divisional Finance Director responsible for all management accounting financial accounting internal reporting activities and Business Partner support for clusters of exhibitions within the appropriate legal entities.

The duties will include the following:

• Provide finance support and advice to all operational and marketing teams responsible for show cost budgets

• Oversee input and maintain budgets and forecasts in the FP&A system

• Provide finance support to appropriate Event Directors and Show Cluster Managing Directors

• Financial accounting responsibility for all legal entities within remit balance sheet reconciliation and audit compliance
• Report and manage financial risks and opportunities at show level

• Monitor and report Opex and Capex spending whilst maintaining compliance in terms of deferred revenue and costs to the point of show month

• Ad hoc reporting and analysis. Devise new and innovative analysis reports to help the business focus on performance and delivering financial objectives

• Suggest updates and improvements for accounting processes.

• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded filed and reported

• Interpreting and communicating financial data to nonfinancial managers

• High degree of pride in their work with a focus on highquality outputs and simpletofollow analysis

• This is an evolving role and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and develop the role and their profile within the business

• Confident in forecasting and preparing budgets accurately

• Excellent IT skills

• Efficient in producing professional reports and analyzing information to support decisionmaking.

• Ability to maximize efficient usage of financial information systems.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize whilst at the same time managing stakeholder expectations

• Based either in London or Coventry office with travel to other locations at least once a week

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong academic record and a clear structured thinker

• Demonstrable ability to communicate and influence at a senior level

• ACA CIMA or ACCA qualified

• Proven track record of delivery of valueadding information

• Strong analytical skills

• Experience in computerized accounting / ERP systems would be advantageous though not essential.
