About the role
Working in the Stockholm Office the role holder will provide operational and strategic support on day to day people matters whilst being responsible for advising on and managing key human resources processes at all stages of the employee lifecycle. You will be tasked with helping White & Case translate their business strategy into talent imperatives that deliver on their strategic visionof profitable growthengaged people and outstanding client relationships.
You will lead and manage the People Function within the Stockholm Office. Furthermore you will be working closely with 16 partners Heads of Business Services functions and report jointly to the Executive Office Partner and the EMEA Director of Human Resources.You will be part of a peer group of other country HR Leaders and partner with members of the HR Center of Expertise as well as be part of the EMEA HR People Advisory Team.
Duties and Accountabilities
Additional duties will include participating in key meetings and present relevant HR information manage employee benefits and local law requirements oversee the HR budget for Stockholm and review monthly utilization and financial reports.
The role will be based at the Stockholm office where some flexibility to work from home applies.
About you
We are looking for a person who has successfully worked in a broad HRrole with strong Swedish labor law knowledgeandsolid experience of the yearly HRcycle. We expect you to have experience of working in a matrix organisation of similar size where you have the ability toeasily maneuver in a highperformance environment alongside building relationships with stakeholders on all levels. You also need to be able to speak fluentSwedish and English whilst having a minimum of a bachelors degree in relevant field.You will also have excellent technical skills and ability to learn new systems (knowledge of PeopleSoft is advantageous).
Ideally you will have experience working inor at least a strong understanding of partnerowned organisations. We also see experience from professional services and internationalcollaborationas a merit.
In order to thrive in theculture you will need to be highly structured and organized with effective time management and prioritization skills. Parallel to this you have a creative and prestigeless mindset sincewe are looking for a doer that enjoys rolling up their sleeves.You are detailorientated with an ability to constructively question existing processes and consider alternatives. An energetic approach is needed but so too is sensitivity when addressing HRissues andstakeholders. Alongside strong interpersonal and communication skills you will need to have an agile and nimble approach.
