Job Description
Role: Azure DevOps Migration Specialist
Duration: 6 months (with extension)
Location: Nashville TN
Type: Day one onsite
Work authorization: Open (CPT & OPT)
W2 candidates would be highly preferred.
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Migration Specialist to lead the migration of our Azure DevOps services and resources from an onpremises environment to the Azure cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure DevOps tools and services coupled with proven experience in migrating onpremises infrastructure to the cloud.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate current onpremises Azure DevOps setup and identify components for migration.
Develop and execute a comprehensive migration plan from onpremises to the Azure cloud.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure a seamless transition while maintaining functionality and performance.
Configure and optimize Azure DevOps services and resources in the cloud environment.
Ensure security compliance and best practices are followed throughout the migration process.
Provide documentation training and support to internal teams postmigration.
Key Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
Demonstrable experience in Azure DevOps tools and services.
Proven track record in migrating onpremises infrastructure to the Azure cloud.
Expertise in designing implementing and optimizing cloudbased solutions.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
Certifications in Azure or related cloud technologies (preferred).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Azure services such as Azure DevOps Azure Repos Azure Pipelines etc.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Python) for automation tasks.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
