Job Description

Sage Accounting software including but not limited to invoicing credit control reconciling transactions and ideally also Cashflow forecasting up to month end preparation for yearend including liaising with our finance Director. Assisst with organising all administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the office. Monthly and Quarterly VAT returns keep relevant records up to date ensure all administration process work effectively.

Requirements

  1. Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Monitor and analyze budget variances providing insights and recommendations.
  2. General Ledger Management:

    • Oversee the general ledger and maintain accurate and complete financial records.
    • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  3. Audit and Compliance:

    • Collaborate with auditors to facilitate the audit process.
    • Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations.
  4. Financial Analysis:

    • Conduct financial analysis to support decisionmaking and strategic planning.
    • Provide insights into financial trends performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  5. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
    • Implement and streamline accounting processes.


Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Mid-level experience in financial management, accounting, or financial analysis, preferably within the legal industry. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and legal billing guidelines. Familiarity with legal processes, terminology, and regulations (or a willingness to learn them quickly). Proficient in using financial management software such as Xero, Dext, and Clio. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Integrity, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. Ability to think critically and ambitiously, aiming to grow into a CFO position within the next 5 years at [Company Name].
