SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Responsibilities

Preparing corporate partnership individual trust or estate tax returns

Reviewing returns prepared by staff and providing training

Communicating with clients as a trusted advisor regarding tax preparation planning and complex tax issues

Corresponding with taxing authorities regarding tax notices

Performing research and being the contact person for the IRS on a clients behalf

Accounting services for tax clients

Financial statement preparation and compilation engagements

Assisting with general bookkeeping tasks within the office

Working with our payroll department and payroll clients to assist in payroll tasks.

Requirements

CPA license (Required)

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related field

7 years of experience

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple client engagements

Outstanding organizational and time management skills

Ability to effectively delegate work as needed

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong analytical research and critical thinking skills
