Procurement Operations Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to join Corios rapidly growing offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon sustainable global economy based in the UK.

Corios global offshore wind business is responsible for the successful management and delivery of a pipeline of 30 GW of offshore wind projects the origination of new opportunities and partnerships as well as the provision of asset management and advisory services to third party investors.

In this newly created role you will report to the Head of Procurement Development and will take responsibility for establishing and delivering a centralized Procurement Operations Desk (POD). The POD will be the goto support engine for all Corio employees to raise service requests and facilitate key procurement activities crucial to the success of Corio.

The Procurement Operations Manager will be the custodian of the POD working with the Head of Procurement Development you will:

• Help us design customer centric process flows making it easy for our internal colleagues to navigate procurement ways of work;
• Along with the procurement development manager act as the face of procurement in assisting colleagues with general procurement queries;
• Process service requests submitted via FreshService which will include
  • Onboarding of New Suppliers into Dow Jones Risk Centre
  • Logging contracts and new suppliers into Medius
  • Developing and Facilitating the workflow of new supplier registrations
  • Facilitating the administration of end user licences associated with DocuSign Dun and Bradstreet Medius etc
  • Distribution of third party reports such as D&B credit reports Ecovadis Sustainability reports.
• Lead the development of and subsequently own service mandates published via DAPPA and Power Virtual Agents;
• In conjunction with the procurement development manager identify develop and manage automated workflows via Power Automate and;
• Own the publication and distribution of the Procurement Operations Performance pack citing monthly helpdesk statistics and KPIs.
• Facilitating procurement support requests and allocating work to responsible procurement practitioners which may include support for RFQs negotiation and or contract execution support;
• Own the creation of suppliers in Medius and ensuring Supplier 360 profiles are updated and made available to the procurement practitioner community.
• Work with the Procurement Development Team to sell the benefits of the POD to our project entities and potentially JV partners.
• Work with the Procurement Development Manager and the Head of Procurement Development in continually appraising our ways of work and recommending improved processes improved automation and ultimately ensuring that Procurement methods are digitized fit for purpose and easy for our colleagues to navigate.

You dont necessarily need to be an experienced procurement practitioner. Rather you should have a customer focussed mindset and be prepared to embrace and explore new ways of work. You should be comfortable working with technology and preferably have some experience with automated workflows such as Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents.

Outstanding communication skills and strong relationship management skills are important as well as prior experience of working in a fastpaced and dynamic environment will hold you in good stead to be successful in this role. The ideal person will have a strong customer success focus and have an exploring mindset always keen to learn and make things better for our colleagues.

Training will be provided to ensure the role holder is fully conversant in all the necessary tools and systems required to be successful in this role.
