Wind Energy Yield Specialist

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Wind Yield specialist in the offshore wind industry to join our team and become part of our global team of industry professionals. The Yield specialist will be responsible for the Annual Energy Production assessments (AEP) for our largescale offshore wind projects.

As an Energy Yield specialist you will be the expert in wind resource analysis mainly focused on our new wind farm projects but you will also support our more mature projects. You will advise on site specific wind measurement campaigns and provide quality control on the work carried out by subcontractors.

You take a proactive approach to your work and you are a person who enjoys engaging with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. It is essential that you thrive in dynamic environments and that you have a holistic understanding of largescale offshore wind farm projects.

The role reports to the Head of Site Selection and Technical Analysis under the Engineering department.

Areas of responsibility in the role:

• Calculation of energy yield assessments (AEP) and technical losses both within Corio and managing third parties
• Internal focal point for energy yieldrelated matters
• Development of new approaches to support the organisations needs
• Analysis interpretation of site measurement data and managing assumptions
• Support layout optimisation work from a yield perspective
• Advisory and optimisation of wind data acquisition
• Manage yieldrelated communication with project partners
• Support the establishment of preferred consultants and frameworks across our active regions
• Liaise with the relevant functions and share knowledge

Your profile

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experience:

• 3 years of Yield specialist experience on offshore windfarm projects.
• Experienced user of WindPro and other AEP assessment tools.
• A strong team worker with an independent proactive and collaborative approach to working with others.
• Strong expertise and a confident communicator able to advise the organisation in yield related matters.
• Global mindset being responsive to local and remote inputs and requests.
• Perseverance and an ability to prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of the latest global trends and technology roadmaps for offshore wind.
• Business awareness and understanding of the key drivers and levers that influence project performance.
