- Required 10 years experience in Human Resources required.
About the Role
The role of the Human Resources Director entails strategically managing all aspects of HR operations supervising the HR leadership team to ensure the delivery of topnotch guest service to Team Members and vendors. Key responsibilities encompass recruitment onboarding training fostering Team Member engagement crafting and implementing policies managing compensation overseeing benefits administration HRIS management handling employee relations administering leave of absence programs maintaining personnel files records retention and managing unemployment matters.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to Tribal Federal and other applicable laws gaming regulations and policies and procedures.
- Uphold the highest standards of guest service across the entire human resources department collaborating with the General Manager to implement and sustain these standards throughout the property.
- Formulate an annual department budget and assess staffing requirements maintaining budget compliance throughout the year.
- Recruit train and supervise Human Resource leadership to foster skill development. Provide human resource advice counsel and decisions to support executives across the property.
- Direct and supervise recruitment and retention initiatives across the property. Propose programs aimed at enhancing recruitment and retention efforts.
- Manage the exempt and nonexempt salary structure to ensure fair compensation. Conduct ongoing analyses of compensation relative to the region and industry advising the General Manager accordingly.
- Offer leadership and guidance in Worker’s Compensation matters.
- Supervise the strategic development and execution of training programs for both frontline team members and leadership.
- Strive consistently for excellence in cultivating and sustaining a positive culture that enables team members to thrive and deliver exceptional guest service.
- Interpret implement and communicate personnel policies and procedures; act as a liaison between team members and management regarding employee relations issues.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient understanding of principles practices and regulations in the field of Human Resources.
- Indepth knowledge of budgeting principles and practices.
- Capability to harmonize organizational goals with a strategic vision.
- Thorough comprehension of workflow and approval processes encompassing staff and compensation approvals.
- Robust analytical capabilities and adept problemsolving skills.
- Background in recruiting through social media channels.
