Job Description

Our client is a wellestablished national company operating for over 20 years servicing both Government and Commercial clients through their group of businesses. We are excited to be recruiting for a Operations Manager for their Victorian Operations (based at Braeside).


Reporting to the State Manager the successful candidate will be involved in all facets of their Victorian operations.


The main responsibilities of this position will include but not limited to:


  • Supervision of Plumbing trade staff
  • Provide technical assistance & advice to Plumbing Trade Staff
  • Assisting State Manager in planning Scheduling ordering of material for jobs & technical advice.
  • Quoting of works
  • Providing job reports as required to clients
  • Insure proper equipment & supplies are available to complete various jobs as required
  • Monitor jobs to insure quality & proper compliance with Australian Standards
  • Coordinate activities with other trades areas project managers or outside contractors
  • Work with other department managers to meet company goals & objectives


Requirements

  • Be a licensed/registered Plumber
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with the principles and practices of facility maintenance and commercial Plumbing maintenance
  • An up to date understanding of applicable laws codes regulations and standards governing plumbing and drainage. This includes risk identification assessment and control
  • Proven ability to organise maintenance and organise plant equipment and materials
  • Great communication skills the ability to troubleshoot and great attention to detail
  • Be computer savvy
  • Have a current National Police Check or willing to undergo one
