Remote Cruise Line Travel Specialist

This is a remote position.

**Responsibilities:**

**Customer Consultation:**

Conduct consultations with clients to understand their preferences interests and travel objectives for cruise vacations.

Provide expert advice on cruise line options itineraries accommodations and onboard activities.

**Cruise Line Knowledge:**

Stay updated on the offerings of various cruise lines including ship amenities entertainment dining options and special promotions.

Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to effectively guide clients in their cruise selections.

**Booking and Reservation:**

Utilize reservation systems and cruise booking platforms to secure bookings process payments and confirm all relevant details.

Stay informed about cruise promotions discounts and exclusive offers to provide clients with the best value.

**Customized Itinerary Planning:**

Work closely with clients to create personalized cruise itineraries based on their preferences budget and travel goals.

Provide recommendations for shore excursions dining options and other onboard activities.

**Communication and FollowUp:**

Communicate with clients through various channels including phone email and chat ensuring clear and timely information.

Follow up with clients to provide updates gather additional preferences and ensure satisfaction with the booking process.

**Problem Resolution:**

Address and resolve client concerns inquiries or issues related to cruise reservations ensuring a positive customer experience.

**Documentation and Record Keeping:**

Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions reservations and payment transactions.

Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.

**Remote Collaboration:**

Collaborate with remote team members supervisors and other departments to ensure seamless customer service delivery.

Requirements

**Qualifications:**

High school diploma or equivalent; Experience in Travel and Tourism is a plus.

Indepth knowledge of various cruise lines ships and destinations is advantageous.

Proficiency in reservation systems and cruise booking platforms.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote customer interactions.

Customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries and issues professionally and efficiently.

Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy in travel planning and documentation.

Familiarity with data protection regulations and ethical business practices.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.

Flexibility to adapt to changing cruise itineraries promotions and client preferences.
