Division Head - Information Security Operations

One of our prestigious clients in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking to hire Division Head Information Security Operations.

Job Purpose

Incumbent is fully qualified systems analyst with good indepth knowledge of Information Security operations area and will lead the operations and projects in this field with minimum direction.

Your responsibilities

• Leads the SOC operations Identity & Access Management GRC and Vulnerability Management as per Cybersecurity framework and associated policy procedures.
• Performs and/or facilitates risk assessments vulnerability tests and reports to management with findings and undertake measures to ensure conformance.
• Design develop test install customize and troubleshoot information security systems and solutions to ensure protection of IT assets business functions and requirements.
• Reviews existing operations within his area of assignment to determine potential problems; performs cost analyses and performance surveys; recommends and develops solutions to problems and deficiencies; suggests revisions to standards and procedures as necessary.
• Design develop test install customize and troubleshoot information security systems and solutions to ensure protection of IT assets business functions and requirements.
• Conducts Vulnerability assessment and threat prevention on regular basis on company Networks.
• Analyze changes to computing infrastructure perform systems outages investigations and maintain KPIs reporting.
• Monitor and manage security events logs of Information technology and Business systems.
• Maintain and support cybersecurity framework policies and procedures and ensure proper integration and handover of security services within the monitoring and detection capability of the SOC.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

Bachelor of Science (BS) OR bachelors degree in computer science Management Information Technology (MIS) Engineering Physical Sciences Mathematics or equivalent.

Professional Qualifications (Certifications & Accreditations)

IT Industry Accredited and related certificate e.g. ITIL CCSP CEH CISA CISM

Competencies (Knowledge Skills & Abilities)

• Analytical Skills Communication Skills.
• Proficient with frameworks and standards associated with Information security/GRC such as ISO 27001 NIST ISO 38500 COBIT 5
• Familiar with frameworks and standards associated with IT like ITIL ISC 20000 etc.
• Ability to work under own initiative and under tight time pressures planning prioritizing and controlling own workload.

Experience

• At least 3 years in Information Security Operations.
• Act as a point of escalation for different level of SOC Analysts such as (L1 and L2 SOC etc.)
• Work with different teams to investigate and resolve the incidents in case of any escalation to ensure that corporate data and technology platform components are safeguarded from known threats.
• Conduct Cybersecurity awareness sessions to the users of Company information systems.
• Support coach and develop plans for younger talents in Information Security Operations
• Participates in the activities of computer and professional societies; serves on working committees within such groups; may attend national and international congresses or conferences.
• Be accountable for all security incident management.
• Ensure compliance to SLA process adherence and process improvisation to achieve operational objectives.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Working Relations

Internal Interactions
Frequent contact with CISO / Information Security Manager for direction and guidance and with Information Security analysts for review and evaluation of security operations.

External Interactions
Frequent contact with vendors for product information and Information Security related projects
