We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transportation Safety Officer (Facility Reporting and Compliance Officer). As a key member of our transportation safety division you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our transportation facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the reporting and compliance activities within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation safety regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
- Monitor and report on safety performance identifying areas for improvement.
- Oversee incident reporting investigation and resolution.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and deliver safety training programs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and auditors.
- Stay uptodate on industry trends and best practices to maintain a cuttingedge safety program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 68 years of experience in transportation safety compliance or a related field.
- An MBA is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of transportation safety regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence.
