One of our esteemed clients in the Shipbuilding industry is currently seeking an Interim Information Technology (IT) Specialist to be based in Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Job Summary:We are currently seeking a skilled Interim Information Technology (IT) Specialist to join our clients team for a 12month assignment. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support maintaining IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems during this interim period.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to endusers for hardware software and networkrelated issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems in a timely manner.
- System Maintenance:
- Assist in the maintenance of IT systems including updates patches and system configurations.
- Ensure the reliability and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
- User Training:
- Conduct training sessions for endusers on IT systems and best practices.
- Create user guides and documentation to assist with common issues.
- Hardware and Software Management:
- Manage and maintain company hardware including computers printers and other peripherals.
- Install configure and update software applications.
- Security Measures:
- Implement and monitor IT security measures to safeguard company data.
- Assist in the enforcement of IT security policies.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to address complex technical issues.
- Provide input on ITrelated projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven years of experience in IT support roles.
- Practical experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts.
Contract Duration:12 months (with the possibility of extension)
