Buyer - Oilfield Services - KSA

We are working with International Oilfield Services Company who is looking for a Buyer to be based in Saudi Arabia.

Position Overview:

As a Buyer you will play a crucial role in sourcing negotiating and purchasing goods and services for our oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement within the oil and gas industry demonstrating a deep understanding of the supply chain market trends and negotiation strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and Procurement: Identify evaluate and select suppliers ensuring the timely and costeffective acquisition of goods and services.
• Negotiation: Engage in effective negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms pricing and contractual agreements.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends industry developments and regulatory changes to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to enhance collaboration and ensure a stable supply chain.
• Cost Management: Implement costsaving initiatives and strategies to optimize procurement processes.
• Contract Management: Develop and manage supplier contracts ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including logistics finance and project management to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement within the oil and gas industry.
• Bachelors degree in business supply chain management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas procurement processes industry regulations and market dynamics.
• Proven negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Familiarity with contract management and legal aspects of procurement.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
