Job Description

For our client a leading multinational company operating in the automation industry supplier of innovative solutions to optimize the supply chain and the material handling we are looking for a SITE MANAGER reporting to the Manager of Project Management & Services.

Mission:

The candidate will be assigned to work with a Project Manager to provide onsite support and coordination during the installation and commissioning of the system. The Site Manager is also responsible for safety unloading and shipment verification installation coordination and supervision until commissioning execution of the equipment.

Main responsibilities:

  • Supervises the installation of the system as designated by the Project Manager
  • Maintains NEC and OSHA standards for Quality and Safety along with company polices regulating the professional conduct of the onsite employees and subcontractors
  • Leads large and complex installation teams to project objectives
  • Coordinates on site activities related to mechanical electrical PLC and software installation teams
  • Organizes with Customer Service for inplant and/or onsite operator and maintenance training for customers dealers and installers
  • Meets with customers present project progress and manage expectations for the duration of the project
  • Attends weekly meetings with agendas coordinated by the Project Managers
  • Completes other duties as assigned

Main requirements and qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechatronics with Training in PLC and PC based control systems with minimum 5 years experience
  • Proven ability to plan manage coordinate and execute the company projects in the field.
  • Very high availability to travel in the USA
  • Fluent English and Italian knowledge
  • Strong leadership in people management
  • High communication skills
  • Problem solving

Job location:

This position is fully remote with frequent traveling to visit clients onsite (expected: 90% of the time).


Candidate must show proof of US citizenship/visa/alien registration. No sponsorship will be offered for this role.
