THE ROLE:
We are currently seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in web application testing using a variety of modern tools. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with tools like JMeter Selenium Gatling Postman and SonarQube and will be responsible for ensuring the performance reliability and scalability of our application stack which includes JavaScript PHP CakePHP Node.js and Symfony. This role demands a proactive approach to automated testing with a focus on continuous improvement and quality assurance.

KEY RESPONSIABILITIES:
1. Automated Testing Development and Execution:
Develop and execute automated tests using tools such as Selenium Cypress and TestCafe for functional and regression testing.
Create and maintain test scripts to ensure coverage of all functionalities in the application stack.

2. Performance and Load Testing:
Use JMeter Gatling and LoadRunner to conduct performance and load testing ensuring the application can handle expected and peak traffic conditions.

Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
3. API Testing:
Utilize Postman and SoapUI for comprehensive API testing ensuring smooth interaction between different system components.

4. Code Quality and Security:
Implement continuous code quality inspections using SonarQube and ESLint identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities bugs and code smells.

5. Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor application performance in realtime using tools like New Relic and Datadog.
Generate detailed test reports and documentation to track and communicate test results and progress.

6. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
Work closely with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Continuously update testing strategies and tools to align with evolving best practices and technological advancements.

QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in automated testing of web applications.
Proficiency in tools like JMeter Selenium Gatling Postman SonarQube and others.
Strong understanding of JavaScript PHP (specifically CakePHP) Node.js and Symfony.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Proven experience in automated testing of web applications.
Proficiency in tools like JMeter Selenium Gatling Postman SonarQube and others.
Strong understanding of JavaScript PHP (specifically CakePHP) Node.js and Symfony.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Pay Range: $60/hr.$70/hr.
