Your responsibilities
As a Senior Product Designer at Cafeyn Group you play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our products. Reporting directly to the Head of Brand and Product Design you are entrusted with the responsibility of understanding both user needs and business objectives and translating them into designs that are not only visually appealing but also intuitive and userfriendly. Your focus encompasses the entire user experience taking into account every touchpoint and interaction that a customer has with our product. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our products not only look great but also deliver value to our users and align seamlessly with our business goals.
Job Duties
Product strategy:
Conduct research wireframing and prototyping to ensure the product is userfriendly and meets set objectives.
Engage in product orientation holistic experience design prototyping and user testing to validate and refine your design ideas.
Implement the methodologies and processes necessary for the proper execution of the roadmap
Design strategy:
Combine your expertise in both visual and interaction design to craft interfaces and experiences that are both visually appealing and functional
Understand and incorporate user needs and business objectives into your designs
Carry out the product design phase (design sprints wireframing HiFi prototyping mockup desktop / mobile / app etc.)
Document and share a continuous Discovery process to better understand our users
Development of products and user experiences:
Embrace a comprehensive view of user experience considering all potential touchpoints and interactions.
Translate the JobsToBeDone into design solutions especially for products undergoing transformation.
Participate in functional and technical specifications.
Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions and continuously iterate on existing products.
Align stakeholders:
Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers from the discovery phase to delivery and subsequent iterations of the product.
Mentor junior designers fostering their growth and ensuring they align with the teams standards and vision.
Facilitate ideation and brainstorming workshops with different stakeholders.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure your designs align with the companys brand and overarching vision.
Required Qualifications
Experience
At least 5 years of experience as a Product designer for web and mobile applications.
Proven expertise in using Figma for design tasks.
Experience in leading design projects from conception to completion.
Familiarity with modern design trends and technologies.
Knowledge and Skills
Proficiency in both French and English languages.
Strong understanding of usercentred design principles.
Ability to think holistically about user experience.
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with at least 2 days per week at the office in Paris.
Proficiency in Interaction Design is a plus.
