THE ROLE

The primary task of the Team Lead AdOps & Programmatic is to lead and empower the ad operations and programmatic team ensuring the smooth daytoday execution of advertising campaigns on Zattoo and partner platforms. They will closely collaborate with the Chief Advertising Officer the Heads of Sales in each country and the POAds to facilitate a seamless ad operations experience for advertisers agencies and other internal and external stakeholders. Alongside the POAds they will continuously monitor and improve Ad Tech topics to optimize processes enhance performance and support overall sales and business targets. In addition to the aforementioned tasks one of the main responsibilities is to ensure the correct invoicing of all sold campaigns making them responsible for managing an ads budget of over multimillion.

THE TEAM

With more than 10 experts in the fields of ad operations ad sales and programmatic the advertising team manages all advertisingrelated topics inhouse. Advertising dynamic video inventory is a growing business and plays a crucial role at Zattoo. It contributes to Zattoos financing of our Zattoo DTC Free offering and assists Broadcasters in monetizing their ad breaks through either serverside dynamic ad substitution (SSDAS) or clientside dynamic ad insertion (CSDAI) solutions. Both are TV platform developments used by Zattoo B2B tenants and our DTC subscription offering. Having the right advertising team in place ensures a significant revenue stream for Zattoo constituting 25% of our overall revenue target.

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Lead empower and grow the ad operations and programmatic team; ensuring that the team is equipped and trained well to do daytoday tasks
  • Conduct regular meetings with the team and 1:1 to discuss employee development
  • Manage smooth collaboration between the ad operations & programmatic team and external/internal stakeholders
  • Ensure effective collaboration with the sales team ensuring that processes such as bookings align with current requirements and that necessary support files and other technical specifications are up to date.
  • Manage invoicing on a monthly basis with the finance team
  • Support and advise sales regarding all technically related ad sales matters
  • Ensure that the ad stack is set up correctly to suit the business needs
  • Manage ad server settings and look after connections to backfill partners
  • Be in close exchange with ad tech partners such as Google The Trade Desk Yieldlab etc. to be up to date with industry trends and inform POAds about new requirements

WHAT YOULL BRING

  • Able to build strong working relationships communicate effectively and help others to further develop and strengthen their skills to successfully perform their job
  • Good knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem and operational tasks
  • Good knowledge of campaign management and optimization
  • High interest in technical aspects of advertising
  • Analytically driven and able to understand and communicate complex topics
  • Knows the advertising market important players and processes on the advertisers side
  • Deep understanding of financial coherences and accuracy in handling invoices
  • Experience in html and in the usage of CRM systems is a plus
  • Bonus: Experience in agile process/project management tools (eg. with Jira)
