Job Description
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER (Permanent)
Our client a locally owned company in WNY is looking to hire a Supply Chain Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone whose vision is process improvement and maximizing efficiency. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and VP of Operations this position is a key strategic role to the organization with tremendous growth potential.
Responsibilities:
- Manage supply chain processes from endtoend to ensure operations run smoothly
- Oversee a team of 35 inventory analysts providing mentorship and guidance
- Monitor KPIs and analyze progress to identify areas for improvement
- Create and implement corrective action plans
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand in order to accurately maintain inventory
- Ensure timely product delivery
- Establish a network of suppliers vetting new prospects and build/maintain positive relationships with each
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to obtain the s possible for the Company
- Analyze current supply chain processes determine areas for improvement and provide solutions for maximum efficiency and cost reductions
- Stay uptodate with current industry trends and regulations diving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance
- Complete special projects in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full time direct hire
- $90000 $120000 annually depending on experience
- Medical Dental 401k PTO
- Bachelor s degree in business supply chain management logistics or related
- 5 years experience in Supply Chain Management
- Excellent analytical skills and drive for process improvements
- Strong computer skills Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Selfmotivated
