Drafting and Project Engineer

• Drawing parts/equipment that will be used in assembly drawings.
  
• Designing and drawing assemblies Water treatment plants site layouts welding assemblies etc.
  
• Drawing detailed fabrication drawings of assemblies and issuing these to the workshop for fabrication.
  
• Collaborating with the rest of the drafting department using Autodesk VAULT to carry out the above three main drawing functions of the drawing office.
  
• On the plant/assembly design aspect it would be required that the person spend a lot of time in the workshop talking to the workshop team to understand how we build systems what standards we follow what materials we use the design style of the plants that we build.
  
• On the plant/assembly design aspect it would also require that the person spend a lot of time with the engineering team (Chemical Mechanical Electrical.) for the same purpose.
  

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering degree BSc or BEng
  
• Graduate
  
• Interested in CAD drawing and design. Beneficial if you have some experience in AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
  
• Good at designing practical things that will be built/manufactured.
  
• Available to start in Jan/Feb.
