About Nightingale Hammerson
Nightingale Hammerson is an independent charity and a leading specialist in the care of older people. We have served the Jewish community since 1840.We have two care homes Nightingale House in Clapham and Hammerson House in East Finchley.
What will your typical day involve
You will confidently lead a team to help provide highquality care ensuring that our team members are supported in their daytoday work
Ensuring thatresidents needs above all are metpromoting their dignity and personal choices
Assisting our residents with theirpersonal care (dressing eating drinking and washing
Supporting the assessment andplanning for personalised care for residents clearly communicating this information to relevant team members
Welcomingnew residents and being theinitial point of contact for visitors
Who are we looking for
You will be able to live and promote our values in all your actions.You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment.
You will enjoy working with colleagues and getting the best out of them while often managing multiple requests at once youll be comfortable multitasking working on your own initiative unsupervised and working with other teams to ensure our residents are happy in their homes.
You will have a positive compassionate respectful and caring approach and good communication and interpersonal skills with an understanding of the needs of older people and the desire to make a positive contribution to the lives of others.
Ability to work on a rostered shift basis including evenings nights weekends and public holidays with the flexibility to respond to the requirements to provide 24hour care.

Hours
37.5 hours a week on a rota with a mixture of days nights and weekends.
