The Clinical Coordinator is a specialized professional working with and under the direction of the manager of the unit.
facilitates and coordinates the daily clinical activities and plays a critical role in conducting the daily work.
Works with the head of the unit, employees, departments, and institution to support and provide guidance on the administration of the compliance, financial, personnel and other related aspects of the project.
Ensure that clinical activities and related activities are performed in accordance with the policies and procedures and at highest standard.
Assists the team in development of materials and tools necessary to appropriately train individuals involved in any project.
Assure that all key personnel or persons ‘engaged’ in the unit work have met training requirements in accordance with DAFNE UK.
Collaborates with unit head to respond to any audit findings and implement approved recommendations.
Prepare a categorized budget and justification. Confirms accuracy and completeness of budgeted costs.
Attends unit meetings as required or requested by the head of the unit.
Prepares reports as requested by the head of the unit.
Assists reaches team in tracking and keeping track of all local and international conferences to provides appropriate training and tools for team members.
Documents date of training and signatures of personnel trained on specific training log.
Collects documents needed to initiate the report or training and submit to the head of the unit
Coordinates participant tests and procedures.
Collects data as required to assures timely completion work assigned to the team
Works with the head of the unit to manage the day-to-day activities of the team including problem solving, communication.
Promotes the ethical conduct of research by reporting good faith suspicions of misconduct in research as defined within Washington University’s Research Integrity Policy and other misconduct as described in Washington University’s Code of Conduct.
Assists Principal Investigator with scientific and compliance reporting requirements in accordance with Federal regulations and University and sponsoring agency policies and procedures.
Assists in the registration (if required) of the study at ClinicalTrials.gov and maintains current information on the site.
Track all clinics and team performance by preparing monthly, quarterly and half yearly report.
Create unit KPI based on DAFNE UK KPI and our requirements.
Track the data entry accuracy and speed in monthly bases between UK data base and Kuwait
Track the international and local calendars of the conferences, workshops and inform the team
Track patients complains, concerns and suggestions though out the hotlines and massages from the team
Liaise between local and international DAFNE centers to arrange for the training courses , meeting and any other responsibility .
Collect documents for approval from clients and admin, signature of manager and distribute to respective departments
Participate in monthly department meetings and prepare minutes of meeting
Preparation of annual gathering meetings
Maintain and update all records in a timely manner
Assist in preparing quarterly progress reports, work plan, policies & procedures, annual budget plan and Annual Report
Maintain calendar of events and meetings and arrange booking rooms and conference facilities
Provide information of general nature to authorized requestors
Responsible for data entry
Responsible for patient recruitments and calling
Pre and post course preparations
Contacting patient for labs ,questionnaires, booking appointment for all related clinic
Responsible for all projects follow up
Responsible for writing, updating all policies and procedures
Responsible for organizing and keeping files up-to-date
Collecting data from outside hospital and primary care
