Education and qualification:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field. A higher degree can be an advantage.
Experience:

Previous work experience in a technical or IT support role, with supervision and management roles identified.
Technical skills:

Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux) and networking technology.
A deep understanding of the computer hardware and software used in the company.
Management skills:

Ability to manage an IT support team and direct efforts towards achieving set goals.
Planning and organization skills to ensure efficient workflow.
