Job Title: Accountant

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Accountant with knowledge of Zoho Books to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and leveraging Zoho Books to streamline financial processes. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Management:

Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records using Zoho Books.

Record financial transactions including purchases sales receipts and payments.

2. Zoho Books Expertise:

Demonstrate proficiency in using Zoho Books for accounting tasks.

Configure and optimize Zoho Books settings to meet the organizations specific needs.

3. Financial Reporting:

Generate and analyze financial reports using Zoho Books to provide insights to management.

Prepare regular financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.

4. Compliance:

Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.

Work closely with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.

5. Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

Monitor budgetary performance and provide variance analysis.

6. Vendor Management:

Manage vendor accounts including processing invoices reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.

7. Crossfunctional Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support decisionmaking processes.

8. Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance function leveraging Zoho Books functionalities.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.

6. Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.

7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in implementing Zoho Books for small to mediumsized businesses.

Knowledge of additional Zoho applications (e.g. Zoho CRM).
