Job Description
CORE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH LEAD LICENSED (Permanent)
Our client a local homecare service company in WNY is looking to hire a Licensed CORE Behavioral Health Lead to join their growing team. This is a newly implemented role due to growth and an excellent opportunity to have a positive impact on the mental health of individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and consultation to service staff based on the individual needs of each case
- Oversee Home & CommunityBased Services (i.e. HCBS) and Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment (i.e. CORE) programs to ensure highest level of care is being provided to clients
- Lead a dedicated team of professionals in the field through HCBS and CORE programs providing guidance and leadership to develop and improve behavioral health programs
- Perform services both inperson and remote as needed
- Monitor clinical department documentation and oversee approvals
- Analyze current documentation processes and make adjustments for improvements as necessary
- Perform (Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (i.e. LPHA) recommendations for new clients accurately documenting all necessary information for CORE services
- Monitor individual progress being made by each client intervening and adjusting course of action when anticipated advancement isn t being achieved
- Collaborate with other departments in the event of a complaint/incident to ensure it is being managed in an appropriate manner
- Track the progression of reported complaints/incidents to ensure resolutions are achieved
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Complete special projects in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full time direct hire
- 50/50 inoffice/out in the field (travel to southern tier and Rochester)
- Flexible hours (i.e. 8:00am4:30pm; 8:30am5:00pm)
- Valid NYS Driver s License required
- $60000 $70000 annually depending on experience
- Medical Dental Vision 401k Match PTO mileage reimbursement ($0.50 per mile)
- Bachelor s in psychology Social Work Counseling or related
- NYS License for Social Work Mental Health Counseling Therapist or related
- 2 years experience in Behavioral Health (CORE HCBS NY OMH regulations)
- Maintain highest levels of confidentiality
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational analytical and time management skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Selfmotivated
- Relocation not available
